Through its various iterations, SMS has been a proud supplier to the UK Science and Research sector for over 30 years. We currently work for a wide range of public and private sector bodies and have contributed to research projects surrounding synchrotron light, UHV and High-Resolution Magnet Systems. Given the pioneering research taking place, SMS is often required to make unique components with materials never used before for the specific purpose intended. We are always happy to consult with clients before the manufacturing process and offer our expertise to the design and manufacturing process

We have enjoyed a longstanding relationship with a local motorsport team for over 25 years. During this time we have provided a vast range of components contributing to everything from increased fuel efficiency to aerodynamic research.
